We were proud to be awarded our ninth consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal Award, which demonstrates our continued commitment towards ensuring our health and safety is of the highest standards.

Festival Supplier Awards - Best Temporary Roadway / Walkway - Winner

The Festival Supplier Awards were launched in 2014 to recognise the achievements and hard work of outdoor event and festival suppliers. They cover a multitude of outdoor event essentials, from staging, crowd management, temporary structures and crewing to crowd barriers, toilets, technology and glamping. 

Event Production Awards - Best Fencing/Crowd Barrier Supplier - Winner

In March 2020 our Engineered Access team was proud to receive this award from the event production industry in London. We were delighted to be commended by the judges: "Alongside a very impressive demonstration of core services, Sunbelt Rentals also show an impressive commitment to innovation and environmental concerns."

RoSPA Gold Award

We took home the gold award for the eight consecutive time at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards 2019, the prestigious annual scheme run by RoSPA.  This is the eight consecutive time, and the eleventh in total that we have achieved gold standard from RoSPA. The awards recognise continuous improvement to accident and ill-health prevention at work. As part of the awards our health and safety management systems were put under rigorous scrutiny by RoSPA.

Awards for Powered Access - IPAF Training Centre of the Year

The award ceremony was held in the Hilton Miami Downtown Hotel and celebrates best practice and excellence in the powered access industry. We gladly received this prestigious award for Training Provider of the Year and aim to continue to provide the highest quality IPAF training.

Plantworx Innovation Awards 2019 - Silver Award for Commitment to Skills and Training

We took home the Silver award for Commitment to Skills and Training by demonstrating a commitment to investment in training for personnel across all levels of the business, plus the provision of unique training to companies within the sector.

Festival Supplier Awards - Best Fencing/Hoarding & Best Temporary Roadway/Walkway - Winners

Our Engineered Access team shone as winners of both the ‘Best Fencing/Hoarding’ and ‘Best Temporary Roadway/Walkway’ at the Festival Supplier Awards. Sunbelt Rentals Engineered Access has received this acknowledgement for their continued efforts in progressing the industry.

We received the HAE award for the second year running, showing the commitment and effort made to continually improve year after year. Hire Association Europe is the industry-leading trade association for the plant and tool hire sector. The company’s annual Hire Awards of Excellence celebrate the achievements of hire and supply companies across the UK and crucial recognition is also given to outstanding individuals who consistently stand out from the crowd, achieving and setting some of the highest standards in the industry.

Hire Association Europe - Event Industry Equipment Hire Company of the Year

Our Engineered Access team won this prestigious award through a combination of experience and dedication to provide you with only the highest quality service. During 2017, they supplied equipment for around 1,000 outdoor events. Many of our customers also renewed multi-year contracts, including the Cheltenham Festival, the National Ploughing Championships and the Open Golf tournament.

Top 100 UK Apprentice Employer

We were named Top 100 Apprentice Employer for the second year running at the National Apprenticeship Awards 2017. We had over 160 apprentices at the time amongst our workforce and were the only major hire company on this prestigious list. Our commitment to training the next generation of skilled plant maintenance teams, customer service personnel and transport and logistics teams is pioneering for the construction equipment rental sector.

London Construction Awards - Supplier of the Year 

We were awarded this accolade at the prestigious ceremony held in the Royal Garden Hotel, for our work in supporting major infrastructure projects such as Crossrail and Thames Tideway.

European Rental Awards - Rental Safety Award 

We received the highly acknowledged Rental Safety Award  in Amsterdam at the European Rental Awards. This award celebrates the active commitment we have regarding all aspects of safety.

Hire Association Europe - Hire Company of the Year Award 

We were recognised as the Plant, Tool & Equipment Hire Company of the Year (over £10m turnover) at the prestigious Hire Association Europe (HAE), Hire Awards of Excellence. The award reflected our significant growth over the previous 12 months, including expansion of our  depot network and record breaking levels of investment in new equipment, where our customers could hire the newest, safest and most environmentally efficient equipment available.

RoSPA Gold Award

Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce - Excellence in Customer Service Award

We won the Excellence in Customer Service Award at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner. Our specialist customer service centre is located in Walsall Wood and strives for excellent customer satisfaction nationwide.

Top 100 UK Apprentice Employer

We were named as one of the UK’s leading companies for providing apprenticeships. With 150 apprentices  at the time amongst our 3,300-strong workforce, we were featured in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer List. We were proud to be the only major hire company to make this listing. The Top 100 companies were officially announced at the National Apprenticeship Awards which took place in London. After a tough selection process, the most exceptional employers from all categories went forward to feature in the list, which showcased the breadth of employers who offer apprenticeships.

RoSPA Gold 2016

Our 8th Gold Award from the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), Occupational Health and Safety Awards & a GOLD MEDAL AWARD for achieving five consecutive Gold Awards. The award recognises our commitment to accident and ill-heath prevention and acknowledges the excellent Health and Safety management systems we have in place. The safety of our colleagues, customers, supply chain and members of the public is of paramount importance to our business success and reputation. 

UK Customer Satisfaction Awards, ‘Best Return on Customer Service Investment Award’ - Winner

This award was open to organisations that have made significant investment in customer service and realised a quantifiable return on investment. We beat strong competition from the likes of Vodafone Automotive, Boots and others to win the award. The judging panel were particularly impressed with not just the level of our investment but the number of initiatives the company had adopted to better serve its customers.

Event Production Awards, ‘Best Fencing / Crowd Barrier Company Award’ - Winner

Our Engineered Access team won the 2016 award for ‘Best Fencing / Crowd Barrier Company’. The Event Production Awards recognise excellence amongst event organisers, production teams and suppliers within the indoor and outdoor events industries and is one of the most anticipated ceremonies of each year.
