Hoist Accessories
To enhance our offerings and to maximise safety and efficiency, we offer a wide range of accessories for our hoists. These include:
Hoistway Protection - (to conform to BS7212 Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Construction Hoists 2016) which includes the supply and fitting of:
Landing Protection Panels – panels fitted either side of the landing gate to prevent objects or persons from coming into contact with the moving hoist.
Landing Infill Plates – infill plates are installed to infillthe gap between the hoist structure and the landings.
Steel Foundation Plates – an option which can avoid the necessity to cast a specific concrete foundation or need to fix the hoist base assembly down to concrete floor.
Landing Bridges – where the hoist is required to be installed away from the building or scaffolding landing edge, we can supply and install landing bridges. This will provide safe access and egress between the hoist cage and landing levels. Landing bridges are supplied incorporating hoistway protection to prevent the risk from falling materials. Landing bridges are available in lengths up to 6.0 metres to suit a variety of hoist specification.
Hoist Communication and Light Indication Systems - Passenger goods hoists can be supplied with various communication systems that help the operator and users get maximum efficiency when using the hoist on busy high rise developments and during industrial outages etc.
