CPCS proves that workers have the training, qualifications and skills they need for the type of work they do - and it's widely accepted across all UK construction sites.

CPCS training is open to anyone aged 16 or over who wants to operate plant machinery in the construction industry.

There are two main types of CPCS cards. The CPCS Red Trained Operator Card and the CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card.
The Red Trained Operator is the most basic level card, and it's valid for 2 years.
The Blue Competent Operator card is a more advanced level, valid for 5 years.
