CPCS A09 Forward Tipping Dumper (Wheeled) - Experienced
This course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to operate a Wheeled Forward Tipping Dumper correctly. It covers the theoretical and practical elements and is suitable for operators with 2+ years of experience.
The course is delivered through a combination of classroom-based tutorials and practical assignments. Delegates will be assessed through a mixture of theory and practical tests.
These will include:
- Operating the machine to a minimum standard.
- Fitting and operating ancillary equipment.
- Siting the machine safely and efficiently.
- Knowing which minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures are necessary and carrying them out efficiently.
- Preparing the machine for travelling on the public highway.
- Understanding the capabilities, purposes, and limitations of each machine.
- Applying all necessary safety precautions.
- Understanding how diesel engines work and how various parts of the machine operate.
All delegates must have successfully passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test, often referred to as the touch screen test, within the past two years.
This course is suitable for operators who have 2+ years of experience.
Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
Successful delegates will receive a CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (on successful completion of the CPCS Technical Tests).
Companies that are CITB registered and meet their grant scheme eligibility requirements may be able to claim a short course duration grant. Please contact us for further information.
