Augers are an excavator mounted drill - used to auger/drill into most soft-medium ground conditions.

Predominantly in the agriculture, landscaping, construction and utility industries and are commonly used to drill holes for pilings, utility poles, lighting posts and fencing foundations.

Minimum hire period: 5 days

  • Augers available to suit 1-50 ton excavators and can be hired as a stand alone item.
  • Augers can be supplied with extension bars for deeper drilling
  • Excavator mounted auger drills are an effective attachment for pre drilling holes to erect fence/concrete posts
