Specially developed for excellent performance, the Sundstrom SR 500 poweredrespirator supplies filtered air to the users chosen face shield or respirator hood and is ideally suited to intensive situations in place of a filter respirator.

This lightweight power unit is comfortable to wear around you, while the simple controls make it easy to get started. Simply add the appropriate face shield and relevant filters for your application.

Minimum hire period: 10 days

  • For use with a range of Sundström filters, hoods and face shields relevant to your application (available separately).
  • Get technical EN 12941:1998 + A2:2008 EN 12942:1998 + A2:2008 Assigned protection factor (APF): 40 (TH3), 40 (TM3).
  • Easy-to-use display and controls allow user to start and stop quickly.
  • Robust casing prolongs lifespan of product.
  • This lightweight power unit is comfortable to wear around you while the simple controls make it easy to get started.
  • Also includes two SR 512 pre-filter holders, ten SR 221 pre-filters and two SR 510 P3 filters.
  • Optical, acoustic and vibrating warning alarms in the event of low airflow or battery.
  • Automatic airflow control.

  • Standard airflow of 175-240L/min.
